Σημείωση: Δύο αφίσες για να θυμηθούμε ότι και τα απολυταρχικά καθεστώτα είχαν εκλογές... 1. Ναζιστική αφίσα για το δημοψήφισμα του 1936 με βασικό σύνθημα ¨Δώστε στον Φύρερ την ψήφο σας!¨ 2. Σοβιετική αφίσα με βασικό σύνθημα "Όλοι στις εκλογές!".

*(Party discipline means that each member of a political party, who is elected to Parliament, must do what the leader of the party tells them to do. So, when the Parliament votes to pass a bill, members of parliament must not vote according to their own feelings, but according to the policy of their political party. If they fail to do so, their political party punishes them. They may be demoted to a lesser position within the party or within government).
