Optimistorkestern, η "Αισιόδοξη Ορχήστρα", είναι ένα γλυπτό του Σουηδού γλύπτη Yngve Lundell και βρίσκεται στην Σουηδική πόλη Malmö. Το γλυπτό ολοκληρώθηκε το 1985 και έγινε αρχικά αντικείμενο έντονης αντιπαράθεσης μεταξύ του ακαδημαϊκού κύκλου της πόλης. Ο κόσμος, όμως, το αγάπησε αμέσως, σε σημείο να δημιουργηθεί μεγάλη αναταραχή όταν, λίγα χρόνια αργότερα, κυκλοφόρησε η πληροφορία ότι οι αρχές της πόλης σκόπευαν να το μετακινήσουν από την αρχική του θέση. Βρίσκεται στην Södergatan (Νότια οδός).

[ENG] Optimistorkestern, the "Optimist Orchestra" of the Swedish city Malmo, is a sculpture by the Swedish sculptor Yngve Lundell. The sculpture was inaugurated in 1985 and was originally the subject of intense debate between the academic circle of the city. The world, however, loved it immediately, so much as to create quite a stir when, a few years later, there was a rumour that the authorities of the city were planning to move the sculpture from its original position. It is located on Södergatan (South street). One can find the website of the artist, who was born in Malmo in 1931, here.
